Extra service – Feast of Nossa Senhora do Livramento on Curral das Freiras
Horários do Funchal will be adding extra service to route 181, between Funchal and Curral das Freiras, on August 29th and 30th, on the occasion of the Feast of Nossa Senhora do Livramento.
With the aim of facilitating travel and encouraging the use of public transport during the celebrations, additional trips will be available during the following periods:
In Funchal, departures will be from the usual stop for route 181, located next to the Cable Car. In Curral das Freiras, boarding for return trips will take place next to Bar Serafim.
Due to anticipated traffic restrictions in the center of the parish, there may be occasional changes to the bus route and locations.
Fares for route 181 remain unchanged, and all tickets normally valid on the intermunicipal network are accepted.
With this extra service, Horários do Funchal reaffirms its commitment to the mobility of the population and to supporting local traditions, providing a comfortable, safe, and sustainable alternative for all who wish to participate in the Feast of Nossa Senhora do Livramento.
